What to expect
It is recommended to schedule the date of your maternity session between weeks 28 and 34 of your pregnancy and secure your session well before then. I want your maternity session to be a stress-free and pampering experience. KDLR Photography carries a large selection of gorgeous maternity of outfits, silks, and gowns to choose from, and all sessions offer an optional add-on service for hair styling and makeup. Maternity sessions take place in studio and come with two to three set-ups. Sessions last 90 -120 minutes (longer if adding makeup and hair services)

Once your baby is born, you’ll have a lot on your mind - selecting a photographer might not be at the top of your list of priorities! That’s why it’s best to book your baby’s photo session as early as possible...before your due date.
Once your little one makes their big entrance, let me know the news! I will coordinate with you to choose a day for the photo session. Newborn photographs should be taken before the baby is two weeks old, ideally between five and fourteen days old.
What to expect
Newborn sessions take place in KDLR Photography studios. This is a controlled environment with space heaters and sound machines to make the experience a very relaxing one for your baby. Sessions include 3-5 sets/props and tend to take 3 to 4 hours. Plan on bringing a good book or simply soaking in this relaxing time for you. TV, snacks, and drinks will be provided or you may bring your own. You may also add-on Makeup & Hair services if you plan on being in some photos. I simply begin with the individual newborn photos while you are being pampered - a wonderful and relaxing treat for every new mom!

Milestone sessions are typically booked for 6 month (or sitter) portraits and for 1 year portraits. Katie De La Rosa Photography will accommodate children of all ages - even if we aren’t capturing a specific milestone, we can plan a Child Portrait Session.
